Labels And Members

Labels and members help organize and categorize cards on your board.

Labels#

Labels are color-coded tags attached to cards for categorization and filtering.

How Labels Work#

Each board has its own set of labels. Labels are defined at the board level and can be toggled on or off for each card.

Toggling Labels#

Labels use a toggle operation — if a label is already on the card, it is removed. If not, it is added.
When fetching a board, all available labels are included in the response, making it easy to display a label picker in your integration.

Members#

Members are users assigned to a card. Assigned members receive notifications about card activity.

How Members Work#

Members are users from the same company
Multiple members can be assigned to a single card
Members are toggled — already assigned users are removed, new users are added

Assigning Members#

The bulk toggle endpoint allows you to assign or unassign multiple members in a single request. This requires SPV or above role when using the API through a user context.
